Apr 05, 2020 · I can confirm this is an issue with Alexa, NOT anyone’s wifi. Alexa apparently will not connect to networks with complex passwords. I had 2 devices. One lost connection and a brand new Echo Plus wouldn’t connect to my 5Ghz network at all. I created a secondary guest network with a very simple password and instant connection for both devices.
